Our Story
The idea of Southern Lights was born in 2020 from Felipe Gallardo's decade-long experience in energy project development and consultancy. Frustrated by the inefficient and fragmented processes in the energy sector, particularly in emerging technologies like Power-to-X, Felipe began developing his own models and tools to streamline project workflows.
In 2022, the company of Southern Lights officially formed when Felipe met his co-founders and began turning the prototype into a full platform. Gustav Ekberg was the perfect match, as he had long experience in building products and leading successful tech teams.
Today, Southern Lights supports some of Europe's most ambitious green energy developers – from idea to implementation. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, we are an international team committed to making a significant impact on the world.
